Throughout life, I have witnessed many political and social events causing me traumas from a young age. Experiencing these ordeals created a unique character and began building an artistic urge to grow in me gradually. Due to my background as an immigrant, I choose to process my experiences through art and learn extra skills to create artwork in a unique and distinguished way. I am passionate about digital arts and am interested in the fields of Web Design, UX/UI, Interactive Design and Creative Digital Art. The BFA Program at SJSU is exactly what I require to achieve my goals and dreams in a professional environment. I was first introduced to design concepts when I majored in Architecture many years ago which allowed me to learn the fundamentals of design and how to focus on core ideas to create and design an artwork. Along with my architectural design classes, I was also practicing drawing, sketching, rendering and working with different materials and mediums. When I decided to return to college to continue my education, my previous experience helped me choose Digital Media Art as my new pathway. I have the knowledge and skill of how to integrate my design concepts into digital artwork. I am conducting experiments in several programs and applications to create Web Designs, Interactive programs, 3D designs, Digital Photography, Video Editing and Sound Effects. I am interested in many styles of modern art including abstract and surrealism and often use textures, colors and shapes in my digital design concepts. My goal is to merge my creativity and experience to build unique and attractive designs in my professional career. As an artist and Iranian diaspora, I would like to educate people through my inspirational, unique and diverse artwork so they would understand and appreciate the culture. Therefore, most of my designs and artwork is culturally influenced but not limited to the concept. I also consider myself a conceptual artist whose main object is to observe and comprehend physically and emotionally to form and create an ideal design.
